Denny Hamlin cruises to victory at Phoenix as Kevin Harvick runs out of gas

AVONDALE, Ariz. ? After establishing part-time residency in Arizona during the offseason, Denny Hamlin found a home again in victory lane for the first time in 23 Sprint Cup races by outlasting Kevin Harvick in a fuel-mileage finish at Phoenix International Raceway.

Hamlin?s victory in the Subway Fresh Fit 500 was secured when Harvick?s No. 29 Chevrolet ran dry on fuel with under two laps remaining in the 312-lap event. Harvick, who led a race-high 88 laps, coasted across the finish line seven seconds behind Hamlin.
