When Bobby Labonte joined TRG Motorsports near the end of the 2009 season, it looked to be a good move for the former Sprint Cup champion.
TRG was new to NASCAR but it was an established championship-caliber team in the sports car ranks.
Unfortunately, TRG encountered financial trouble last season and the 46-year-old spent much of the year bouncing from team to team ? making starts with TRG, Robby Gordon Motorsports, Phoenix Racing and Stavola Labonte Racing (a team co-owned by his brother Terry).
